The cottage sleeps up to eight people. It is set in it's own enclosed cobbled yard with parking for up to three vehicles.
All pets are very welcome (at no extra cost) – but we like them to be well behaved as we are a livestock farm. Horses can also be accommodated on the farm, please see our horse holidays page or enquire for further details.
The cottage is fully furnished, with heating throughout and a Multi fuel stove in the living room. Other facilities include: TV, Freesat, DVD player, video recorder, radio/CD player, electric fan assisted cooker, microwave, toaster, deep fat fryer, refrigerator, table top freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, Iron and Ironing board, cooking and eating utensils, and a separate games room (pool table and football table, with TV, Freesat), separate shower room, a bathroom (with roll top bath), and a large wooden picnic bench in the cobbled enclosed yard.
The cost of the cottage is £350 plus electricity per week. A deposit of £50.00 would be required on confirmation of a booking with the balance being due six weeks prior to arrival.
Short breaks are charged from £70 per night. Minimum of two nights or an extra supplement is charged. If on a short break and would like a cooked breakfast, arrangements can be made for you at a local pub. Please ask for details.

Bed Linen is provided at no extra charge. A Cot and High Chair are also available on request, at no extra charge. Coal and logs can be provided for the Multi fuel stove, but there are extra charges, please refer to 2015 Price List .
The cottage consists of: Three main bedrooms. Bedroom one has a double bed and a single bed and has a TV and Freesat availability. Bedrooms two and three have double beds. There are also additional sleeping facilities available if required i.e. bed settee/camp beds. The kitchen has a large extendable table that can accommodate eight persons.
A welcome pack is provided on arrival, (milk, tea ,coffee and sugar). The nearest general store for provisions is only five minutes away at the village of Askham at Askham Stores, where you can also find local pub/ restaurant facilities at the the (The Queens Head ) and (The Punchbowl) inns.
